EveNSteve recently made a whirlwind trip to NYC for AIPAD (Association of International Photography Art Dealers) which was great fun- many of the photographs on display were such true classics that they felt like old friends.

We also got to catch up with some ACTUAL old friends, (hi Gisela, Eileen, Steven and Elvira!) We even ran into the always fabulous Polaroid portraitist Louis Mendes! Before leaving we visited the current Metropolitan Museum of Art show "The New Art: American Photography 1839-1910," which featured some stunning examples of early photographic techniques such as daguerreotypes, tintypes, ambrotypes, cyanotypes and stereographs.

Now back in Vermont, we are getting ready for a new season at the Hayfield Art Gallery, which is going to look very different than we first imagined. As soon as the rain stops we'll be out with a fresh coat of paint and a whole new show for 2025!
