Row Houses is a particularly special piece because the making of it was documented by filmmaker Brendan Leahy, as part of a film about Steve and his artwork. Brendan showed up at an opportune moment- just as Steve and I had the idea to start working together. As a result, one of the images featured in the film has no handwritten text, but the next one does.

This fourteen foot artwork- as well as Brendan’s film- will be on display as part of the new show Steve is curating at the Wilson Museum at the Southern Vermont Art Center, in Manchester VT, Everything is Still: Photographers Working with Motion Picture Film. It opens this weekend (Sat. June 29, 4 to 6 PM). Come say hi before we get all famous and stuff.
